The deputy director of MCAST University (Malta) is visiting the faculty
Professor Mark Anthony Farrugia, who is the Deputy Director of MCAST (https://mcast.edu.mt/), is visiting the faculty again after a break of several years.
During the previous visit, several years ago, an ITF cooperation agreement was signed between MCAST and LBTU within the framework of ERASMUS.
Since then, more than 10 students from Malta have studied at the Faculty, as well as ITF students have gone on more than 10 exchange studies to MCAST.
During this visit, changes in study programs and a more successful course recognition procedure between the two institutions were discussed. Likewise, LBTU's transition to the ECTS system.
ITF students have the opportunity to apply for ERASMUS exchange studies at MCAST. More information by writing to: jekaterina.smirnova@lbtu.lv
