IT graduates receive diplomas

On January 25, international students of the Faculty of Information Technology (ITF) at LBTU received diplomas and received qualification - software engineers.

Three young specialists of the professional bachelor's study program "Information Technologies for Sustainable Development" who were awarded professional bachelor's degrees in information technologies and programming engineer qualifications were welcomed at the diploma awarding ceremony by rector of the university.

During their studies, they learned programming languages, system modeling, creating web systems of various complexity, creating and using databases, becoming highly qualified specialists in the fields of software engineering.

Graduates are now ready to professionally join software development projects. Actually they already had a first job experience during internship at IT companies and already received full-time employees contract offers.

The national final examination commission (consisted from leading experts in the field in Latvia) especially highlighted Gowtham Ranga Reddy Satti from India paper, who developed the thesis on "Implementation of blockchain technology in healthcare sector".

Young programming engineer also showed high achievements throughout his studies. Graduating with excellence.

Other graduates also showed excellent results in the final defense addressing e-commerce and cyber security topics.
